The company Various Leuchten was originally founded in 1993 under the name Volker Mielsch GmbH with the aim of bringing lampshades and lamp bases to the market, as this market segment had been ignored by all lighting manufacturers up to that point or the idea as such was completely missing from their train of thought.

Our idea was to show the end user a concept of how they could individually create their 'own' lamp. Changing the lampshade offers the possibility of adapting the lamp to the respective season. Even the beloved heirloom can find a new 'hood' with us.

The focus was on a simple and user-friendly product that takes up little space and is offered at realistic prices.

Now, more than 30 years later, Various Leuchten has developed into a lamp brand that offers a complete range of interior lighting. The basis remains our wide range of lampshades and lamp bases, but we also have a range of lights and accessories.
